The University of Warsaw, established in 1816, is Poland’s largest and finest university. With over 45,000 students and more than 3500 academic staff members it provides numerous study programmes in areas ranging from natural and exact sciences, humanities to social sciences. The University of Warsaw is research oriented and mobility friendly. It puts great emphasis on the international dimension by cooperating with 800 international partner universities and institutions.
