Ghent University

Founded in 1817, Ghent University distinguishes itself as a socially committed and pluralistic university in a broad international perspective. It is one of the leading institutions of higher education and research in Belgium with over 41,000 students and more than 9,000 staff members. Its 11 faculties offer a wide range of courses and conduct in-depth research within a large variety of scientific domains.
