“Erasmus Goes Digital” Highlights Community Support for Digital Mobility
A webinar held on 7 March, titled “Erasmus Goes Digital”, brought together DG EAC, DG CNECT, and the European University Foundation to present the long‑term vision for digitalisation within the future Erasmus+ programme. More than 750 institutions from 40 countries participated to understand how the transition from paper‑based to fully digital mobility processes will unfold and how the European Student Card Initiative supports this shift. The session also highlighted that student cards can already carry the European Student Card hologram, helping strengthen a shared European student identity.
MyAcademicID Project Launch
This project focused on creating the foundation for a secure, federated authentication and identification system for mobile students, paving the way for the European Student Identifier (ESI).
