Atlas

You ask, we answer

What are the Atlas values?

It’s important for us to create Atlas as a not-for-profit, university-governed initiative built on transparency and collaboration, dedicated to simplifying and improving digital mobility processes across higher education institutions.

Will Atlas replace the EWP Dashboard?

No, we created the EWP Dashboard back in 2016 because we believe that an open-access tool is and remains of vital importance for carrying out a successful digital transition in a programme such as Erasmus+. Over the years, we worked continuously to improve the EWP Dashboard and, through that experience, gained a deep understanding of both the opportunities and limitations of developing and maintaining high-quality digital tools within the realities of relying on EU funding.

Atlas is for colleagues and institutions who want to go beyond what is possible with the EWP Dashboard and other solutions currently available, and its goal is to unlock and enable a richer, more powerful and efficient digital mobility management.

How is Atlas run and funded?

The Atlas fee structure is currently being determined through direct consultations with universities, which already began in January 2026. The aim of the consultation is to ensure fairness and transparency, as well as sustainability. Final pricing details are expected to be announced around October 2026.

When will Atlas be available?

Atlas is expected to become available towards the end of 2026, and we look forward to sharing it with the community.
