EWP Champions Brussels Meeting Sets 2024 Priorities for Advancing EWP Adoption

A meeting held on 5 December in Brussels launched a new cooperation platform aimed at advancing the digital transformation of Erasmus+ mobility administration. Representatives from higher education institutions across Europe, all connected to the EWP network through different systems, took part in the discussions.

Improving Communication and Skills for Wider EWP Use

A key focus for 2024 is improving communication with the higher education community and identifying priority messages that encourage wider use of EWP. Participants also explored how digital processes could simplify administrative tasks under both the current and future Erasmus+ programmes. There was clear support for expanding targeted, practical training to help colleagues with different levels of experience.

Peer Learning, Efficiency, and Shared Outlook

EWP Champions committed to showcasing how they use EWP in their own institutions to support peer learning. Participants also stressed the need to reduce double data entry to make digital tools more efficient. The meeting provided space for sharing best practices and reflecting on lessons learned from recent implementation efforts. When asked to summarise their outlook for the future of EWP, participants used words such as “challenging,” “promising,” “hope,” and “simplification.”
