We are very pleased that the Latvian Higher Education Council endorsed the Erasmus For All grant calculation proposal at its meeting on 11 December 2025. The Council brings together delegates from higher education institutions, student representatives, the Minister of Education and Science and other key stakeholders in the higher education sector.
This endorsement marks an important milestone, as it demonstrates that the work carried out by the Erasmus4All consortium is not only scientifically sound but also closely aligns with the needs of the higher education community. It reinforces the positive feedback from nearly 80% of the European University Alliances representatives when they were presented with the project and its conclusions.
What is the Erasmus For All proposal?
The Erasmus For All proposal aims to improve the current grant system by making it more transparent and fair. The proposal takes into account city-level cost differences, which would make mobility opportunities more affordable and accessible for more students.
