The EUF network is thrilled to welcome the University of Galway as its newest member.
Founded in 1845, the University of Galway is one of Ireland’s leading research-intensive universities. Home to more than 20,000 students from over 120 countries, the university is recognised for its commitment to sustainability, international engagement, and research excellence. Furthermore, as Ireland’s ESCI Champion for 2025–2027, the University plays an active role in advancing the digitalisation of Erasmus+, contributing to best practices and supporting the development of future digital tools for the European higher education community.
We look forward to working together to enhance equitable access to mobility, foster inclusive internationalisation, and harness digital tools to improve the student experience across Europe.
