The Erasmus Without Paper (EWP) Champions initiative highlights the benefits of digitalisation for students, higher education institutions, and the European Education Area. EWP Champions are representatives from selected institutions who actively promote the digital transformation of Erasmus+ administrative processes and support wider adoption of the EWP approach.
Ambassadors Promoting Practical Digital Adoption
Chosen by the European Commission and National Agency Digital Officers, the Champions represent diverse systems and national contexts. They serve as ambassadors by sharing real case studies, demonstrating the advantages of EWP, and offering practical insights gained through hands‑on experience. Their work includes contributing to the development of EWP, testing new features, addressing technical and operational challenges, and supporting improvements to digital student mobility workflows.
Supporting Institutions Through Peer Experience
As the number of digital Learning Agreements and inter‑institutional agreements continues to rise, the Champions play a key role in helping institutions navigate the transition and unlock the full benefits of digitalisation across the Erasmus+ community.
