As a growing number of PhD holders pursue a career outside academia, it is important that doctoral programmes equip them with the right skills to find a job both within and outside academia.

On January 18th at 10:00 CET, the DocTalent4EU consortium is pleased to invite PhD Supervisors, head of doctoral schools, career centre staff, knowledge transfer offices, and policy-makers to the online event “Improving training and career progression of doctoral candidates”.

During the event, previous projects that focused on skills training and career development of PhD candidates will be presented. Furthermore, participants will have the opportunity to hear the perspectives of both PhD candidates and relevant stakeholders. A special focus will also be placed on the challenges that candidates currently face during their studies and on how the academic and non-academic sector can collaborate to improve training and career development of doctoral candidates.

This event is organised in the framework of the DocTalent4EU project: the discussions and feedback gathered during the event will be used to inform and shape the activities of this project.

Participation is free of charge. Save your spot today, register* here.
