Online event for EUF universities

Registration is open only to IRO staff members from EUF network universities.
The new Erasmus+ programme (2021-2027) has expanded and diversified the opportunities for stays abroad as well as opened up possibilities for digital and hybrid elements.
Key Action 1 – Learning mobility of individuals aims to promote physical and blended mobility of both students and university staff. In particular, the action supports Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs) by encouraging groups of Higher Education Institutions to jointly develop a blended mobility programme.
BIPs are short physical learning programmes that combine in-person and online learning activities. They primarily foster:
- development of transnational and transdisciplinary curricula;
- innovative ways of learning and teaching;
- online collaboration;
- research-based learning;
- challenge-based approaches which tackle societal challenges.
The 2022/2023 edition of the EUF Knowledge Exchange Community is coming back this fall with two consecutive sessions on BIPs. The main objective is to create space for the EUF network universities to:
- discuss the challenges related to planning and implementation of BIPs;
- look into solutions on already identified challenges, such as on how to efficiently implement BIPs;
- exchange information and experience, proposing possible scenarios and practices on key steps and milestones;
- design the overall business process and flow of actions to be used as sample structure (programme definition (virtual/in-person components), enrolment of students, awarding of credits, funding, reporting requirements, etc).
The discussions that will stem from the sessions will lead to defining concrete scenarios and approaches to strategically implement BIPs in the new academic year.
