Through comprehensive data collection, analysis, and the development of strategic tools and guidelines, BEAM will create the Shared Gender Equality Model of International Mobility for Staff (SMIMS), providing HEIs with the necessary instruments to foster gender-balanced staff mobility. BEAM will also produce digital resources and organize training sessions, local events, a webinar, and an international workshop to raise awareness, allow knowledge transfer between HEIs, and drive policy change.
BEAM will develop a gender-sensitive mobility monitoring tool, two impact self-evaluation tools, and a roadmap for inclusive staff mobility. It will equip HEIs with data-driven strategies, guidelines, and a shared definition of staff with fewer opportunities. By fostering awareness and driving policy change, the project will enhance gender balance in staff mobility programmes, support career progression for underrepresented groups, and promote long-term institutional and European-level impact.
