New Governance Structure Strengthens Erasmus Without Paper Community

A newly approved governance structure for Erasmus Without Paper (EWP) is designed to strengthen collaboration and ensure broad involvement from the higher education community. The framework supports the digitalisation of Erasmus+ administration by bringing together those who use, manage, and develop digital mobility processes. Its aim is to build trust, coordinate efforts, and guide the long‑term evolution of the EWP Network.

A Shared Framework to Guide EWP’s Long‑Term Development

The structure consists of several bodies representing different user groups. Business Process Owners bring the perspective of International Relations Officers, while the Infrastructure Forum gathers IT specialists and software providers to address technical standards. Digital Officers from National Agencies and Member States support institutions through communication and guidance. A University and Students Forum contributes insights from university networks, alliances, and learners, and an Advisory Board of external experts helps align ESCI with broader trends in digitalisation.

Ensuring Representation Across User Groups

All interested institutions can join EWP user groups, which offer a space to share needs, provide feedback, and compare experiences across different system environments. These groups play a key role in shaping practical solutions and ensuring that the governance process reflects real institutional challenges.

Opportunities for Institutions to Participate and Contribute

Institutions can consult the governance pages to learn more about responsibilities, meeting cycles, and opportunities to participate.
