ESCI to Present Key Updates at EAIE 2024 in Toulouse

The European Student Card Initiative (ESCI) team will take part in the EAIE Conference in Toulouse from 17–20 September, the largest annual gathering for higher education professionals in Europe. With more than 6,500 participants and over 240 sessions, the event offers extensive opportunities to explore developments in digitalisation, sustainability and innovation in international education. As in previous years, ESCI features prominently throughout the programme, giving attendees the chance to meet the team and learn about ongoing digital transformation efforts within Erasmus+.

Core Sessions on Digital Erasmus+ Tools

Three main sessions will focus on the core ESCI components: Erasmus Without Paper (EWP), the European Student Card, and the Erasmus+ App. These include a panel on streamlining Erasmus+ administration, a poster session on access to student services, and a roundtable featuring EWP Champions discussing progress and future directions. In parallel, EWP Champions will meet at TBS Education on 17 September to exchange expertise on reaching the 95% digital Learning Agreement target and introducing once‑only data entry for students and staff.
