The EUF is pleased to invite you to the second edition of the EWP Convention, a conference bringing together users, practitioners and experts on the strategic topic regarding the digitalisation of Erasmus +.

What can participants expect?
Under the theme “Paving the way for a community-driven digital transition” the 2026 Convention will bring participants up to speed on a range of topics, ranging from latest updates to the discussions regarding the Erasmus+ 2028-2034 programming period. These are some of the highlights:
- Current developments: progress of digital nominations, preparations for digitalising the certificates of arrival and departure and enabling data portability, the future of the EWP Network and the EWP Dashboard
- Practical needs: new functionalities, study cases on IT and IRO collaboration, digital transformation and change management, power users and large scale digitalisation and interoperability in European University Alliances
- EWP Back to the Future: Atlas, AI assisted academic recognition and global interoperability
- Policy and planning: discussing changes to Erasmus+ templates and its operational impact, ensuring preparedness to the start of the next Erasmus+ programme
The combination of keynotes, panels, community spaces and hackathons throughout the Convention is designed to allow all participants to help shape what comes next, discussing the EWP’s future direction and institution-driven digital autonomy, voice priorities and align requirements for Erasmus+ 2028-34, experience new features that extend beyond core EWP processes, and explore how electronic data exchange can support global cooperation.
The EWP Convention will provide a perfect meeting point for Erasmus Without Paper and digital transition ninjas and rookies alike to share, learn, and shape together an initiative whose motto has long been “by universities, for universities”.
