Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv Calls for International Support

Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv has faced significant damage from recent airstrikes amidst the ongoing conflict. The latest attack on November 3, 2024, devastated the university’s Institute of International Relations and the Institute of Journalism, leaving many lecture halls and facilities unusable and forcing these institutes to move their academic activities online.

In response, an urgent call for international assistance has been issued to support restoration efforts. Donations will go directly toward restoring essential educational spaces and resources damaged by the attacks. Contributions can be made through the university’s alumni association, and donors are kindly asked to specify “charitable aid for restoration of the buildings suffered from a missile attack” when making their donations.
