The EU global Data Protection Regulation has been called “the world’s strongest data protection rules” (Wired), “one of the biggest shake-ups of data privacy laws since the birth of the web“ (Reuters) and “the most complex piece of regulation the European Union (EU) has ever produced” (Economist). But how does this impact the thousands of higher education institutions that take part in the Erasmus+ programme?
This webinar will illustrate how tools such as the Erasmus Dashboard and the Online Learning Agreement can support universities to comply with GDPR, as well as support a smooth transition into the next programme. Speakers will provide their views and expertise on how they are looking to ensure their own universities are GDPR compliant, and share tips with colleagues interested in the topic.
The webinar will take place on the 20th of January 2020 at 14:30-16:00 CET/Brussels time.
