A structured approach to crisis management in internationalisation of higher education: nice to have or must?

A structured approach to crisis management in internationalisation of higher education: nice to have or must?

Online event for EUF universities

Date: January 18th, 2024, 10:30AM – 12:30PM CET

Registration is open to Head of International Relation Offices, coordinator of crisis protocols, and student mobility officers from EUF network universities.

Preliminary discussions among EUF member universities have indicated that many higher education institutions do not yet have crisis support mechanisms in place. This session will provide an opportunity to exchange views on what types of situations qualify as crisis situations and how institutions are addressing them. The outcome of the session will be increased awareness of potential crisis situations and may potentially lead to the implementation of more proactive crisis prevention and mitigation mechanisms within institutions

The session will be chaired by Vratislav Kozák (Director of the International Relation Office) and Anna Bowers (Crisis Communication Manager) from Charles University.
