INSIGHT
The International Network for Support, Inclusion, Global Harmony, and Training (INSIGHT) project aims to strengthen internationalisation in higher education by creating inclusive, supportive environments for international students, staff, and researchers.

Started: 2025

Funding: Erasmus+ Key Action 2 – Cooperation Partnerships in Higher Education

Project budget: 400.000,00 €

Length: 3 years

Partners: 4

The INSIGHT project aims to transform the internationalisation of higher education institutions (HEIs) by promoting excellence, cohesion, and innovation in the support provided to students, staff, and researchers from diverse cultural backgrounds. It addresses the critical gap in services for international students enrolled in long-term programs, as well as PhD students, interns, and researchers, creating welcoming, inclusive, and globally connected academic environments.

Central to the project is the establishment of Unified Contact Points, which provide tailored guidance to help international students and staff adapt to new academic, social, and cultural environments. INSIGHT also strengthens staff skills through training in intercultural communication, digital tools, and inclusive practices, while fostering Internationalisation at Home through workshops, lectures, and digital resources that promote cultural understanding and participation.

By creating methodological frameworks, training tools, and sustainable practices, INSIGHT ensures long-term impact. These efforts not only improve the experiences of international students and staff but also enhance institutional capacity, professional competencies, and the overall quality of HEIs. The project’s outcomes aim to attract and retain international talent, strengthen global collaboration, and contribute to the economic, social, and cultural vitality of universities and their wider communities.
