Policy Community

The EUF Policy Community facilitates in-depth and strategic discussions among EUF members about ongoing European policy developments in higher education and their effects at national and local levels.

More specifically, what are Policy Community sessions about?

The sessions will cover policy priorities set by the higher education community vis-à-vis those of European institutions, such as the European Commission, Council of Europe, and Bologna Follow-Up Group. They will explore how synergies are created among different processes, keeping an eye on new developments and dynamically adjusting the scope of the meetings. Additionally, the Community will explore agenda setting, collaborative advocacy efforts, and sharing knowledge and insights from the higher education community.

What to expect from Policy Community sessions?

Participants will share insights, receive updates, and address common challenges to bridge the gaps between policy objectives and their practical implementation. Active and engaging participation is essential, as Community members are expected to contribute to discussions and coordinate advocacy efforts.

Who can participate?

Privileged access is granted to Head of Departments, Policy Advisors and colleagues with similar profiles from EUF member institutions who follow advancements in specific European higher education policies. If you are a staff member of an EUF member institution and are interested in joining the EUF Policy Community, please express your interest via this form. The respective institutional contact person and the community coordinator will confirm registrations.
