On the 19th March of 2015, the University of Luxembourg hosted the 8th Board of Directors meeting of the EUF. At this occasion the network elected a new Steering Committee with members from the University of Alcalá, represented by Vice Rector Prof Miguel Angel Sotelo, the University of Vienna, represented by Vice Rector Prof Heinz Faßmann and the University of Latvia, represented by Vice Rector Prof Andris Kangro.
Additionally, the member universities approved a new and ambitious cooperation framework that aims to broaden the scope of the activities carried out by the network. The new strategy envisages the development of the European University Foundation as the institutional umbrella for new projects in the fields of quality mobility, employability and entrepreneurship, policy innovation, digital Higher Education and European Citizenship. This strategy was underpinned by an internal consultation carried out between September and December 2014 that involved all member universities.
