The mission of higher education institutions (HEIs) is changing and expanding. This evolution is mirrored in the job market where new jobs and skill sets keep emerging. It is therefore essential to explore new approaches to widening the role of HEIs, and exploring highly relevant cooperation methods with businesses.

The project #europehome proposed, designed and implemented a model of a win-win cooperation and a structured framework which involved three target actors (Universities, Employers and Students). The goal of the project was to address the challenge of student employability and the need of increasing the relevance of education and it primarily focussed on enhancing graduate employability by combining studies and work abroad.

Main outcomes:

• Unique cross-border placement scheme for students (local and international)
• Innovative collaboration structure between universities and business representatives
• Learning material and e-modules on entrepreneurship
• Guidelines for educators
• Policy recommendations

The project #europehome aimed to create a structured and mutually beneficial ecosystem for University-Business cooperation and study models that require students to act across the traditional boundaries therefore fostering further development of entrepreneurial skills and attitudes.
