Vision for digitalisation in the future Erasmus programme.
On 7 March, the Directorate-General of Education, Youth, Sport and Culture (DG EAC) – together with colleagues from Directorate-General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology (DG CNECT) and the European University Foundation – held “Erasmus goes Digital”, an interactive webinar to share the vision for digitalisation in the future Erasmus programme. Understanding these changes is a critical step step in the roll-out of the European Student Card initiative.
During the webinar, participants were encouraged to send in their questions via an interactive audience platform. It was an extremely energetic interaction, with 265 questions and comments posted during the event. This excellent feedback will now contribute to a promotional toolkit, including FAQs, on the European Student Card initiative.
Digital Opportunity Traineeships are making the Erasmus+ programme even more relevant for students by facilitating traineeships abroad to boost digital skills. Perhaps most importantly, Higher Education institutions were given insight into how to maximise the impact of these amazing opportunities.
