As Europe faces the challenge of an ageing population, it’s crucial that we create opportunities for seniors to stay active beyond retirement. Higher education and policymakers have a vital role to play in making this a reality.
The Erasmus 60+ project explored new innovative avenues to integrate citizens aged 60+ into higher education, ensuring they continue to thrive in society. Now, as the project reaches its conclusion, we’re reflecting on its success while setting our sights on the future. Our final conference will present key outcomes and invite you to be part of the next phase in third-age education.
We’ll also dive into an exciting yet often overlooked topic: international student mobility for seniors. Under the current Erasmus programme, senior learners can now take part in this enriching experience, and we believe it’s a game-changer for both learners and institutions.
