The Swiss agency for exchange and mobility, Movetia, has organised their annual conference for the higher education sector on the 21st of November, in Lugano, and we were invited.
Together with Katalin Németh, the EUF Coordinator of the Eötvös Loránd University, who presented the European University initiative CHARM-EU, we presented the Erasmus Going Digital key initiatives that are unfolding in the context of the European Student Card initative of the European Commission.
The discussion with the representatives of the Swiss institutions focused on the digital developments that are currently taking place and how these changes might impact the functioning of the Erasmus+ programme.
While Switzerland is not part of the Erasmus+ programme, we debated on the key question on how Swiss institutions should anticipate such a digital transformation in a context where their EU partners will go digital in the near future and Swiss institutions might join the Erasmus+ programme again.
