The International conference “Business & University cooperation: Fostering entrepreneurship & innovation in higher education” will take place on June 27th, 2018 at the Microsoft Innovation Center, Brussels, Belgium.
HEIs have a responsibility towards their students in terms of their future professional life, however the skills gap and mismatch between the labour market needs and university curricula cannot be addressed by universities alone. Business-university cooperation is therefore key!
During the event, participants will have the opportunity to discuss how to intensify university-business cooperation, share innovative entrepreneurial material and discover a unique placement scheme aimed to improve practical and transversal skills to foster graduates’ employability.
This conference is the final conference of the European-funded project #empl-oi. The event will offer a combination of presentations and panel discussions and will enable all participants to showcase their ideas and experience as well as network with their peers.
Great for professionals, academics, international relations officers, development officer,s entrepreneurs and policymakers from different fields interested in employability, modern teaching methods and entrepreneurial skills.
Registrations are free of charge, open until June 5th.
Additional information: Lunch and coffee breaks will be covered by the project. Please note that travel and accommodation expenses are not covered. Visit http://empl-oi.eu/.
