University of Eastern Finland
The University of Eastern Finland is an international research university with approximately 15,000 students. The university is among the largest universities in Finland and has campuses in several cities in Joensuu and Kuopio. One of the aspects that make the UEF a particularly attractive destination for international students is the vast choice of non-degree and degree programmes taught in English.
Joensuu and Kuopio are located in the eastern Finnish lake area, where one can enjoy the advantages of an urban and cultural lifestyle together with the great natural beauty of the region’s forests, lakes and islands.
