Supporting changemakers in European higher education

28th – 31st May 2024 | University of Murcia, Spain

EUF Open Space

7th Edition

The Open Space allows participants to dive into EU funding opportunities, present and discuss past and ongoing European projects and their results, and exchange ideas on how to work towards their institutional priorities. The event will tackle the priorities set by the participants themselves, such as sustainability, inclusion, novel mobility formats, and managing the internationalisation process in a changing world.

This 7th edition will be a 4-day event and is powered by the EUF Project Manager and Advisor Community, and will gather representatives from EUF members and beyond. The lively and creative environment of the event offers multiple networking and good practice sharing opportunities among higher education staff working (or aiming to work) on EU projects meeting their priorities.

This was the first time I have attended an Open Space event, but after the 1st day I was sure that it has to be a “must” in the office activities’ annual calendar, side by side to EAIE Conference or other similar events. It has been a truly enriching experience!

Open Space participant 2023

I felt so challenged and appreciated in the same time during the event. Everything was there to improve skills, to learn more, to get update/first-hand information and to feel supported professionally, socially and personally. These circumstances are perfect to incubate brilliant ideas.
Open Space participant 2017

It gives a good overview of the possibilities and we also meet with potential partners. It’s also a hub for ideas to put in place at our university.
