Leading IRO Teams Through Change and Uncertainty

Leading IRO Teams Through Change and Uncertainty

Online event for EUF universities

Date: April 18th, 2024, 10:30AM – 12:30PM CEST

Registration is open to Head of International Relation Offices and/or other university departments from EUF network universities.

As universities are striving for excellence in all areas, including internationalisation, effective leadership is paramount – at all levels. The upcoming KEC session is therefore centred on the dynamic landscape of International Relations Office (IRO) management, in particular addressing the team leadership dimension during periods of transition and expansion. We will delve into the critical aspects of aligning day-to-day operations with the global strategic goals of the university by sharing insights into the leadership strategies that may support you in leading your teams.

During the session, we will explore practical strategies to foster team collaboration and the creation of a cohesive and high-performing team environment, thus ensuring your IRO not only copes with changes/expansion but thrives in it. We will also look into the essential competencies of IRO leaders and available support mechanisms to navigate the challenges inherent in managing IROs successfully.

The session will be chaired by Ana Cosic, Head of International Relations Office at the University of Split.
