EUF Goes to EAIE2025!

Jul 25, 2025

This September, the EUF team is heading to Gothenburg for the 2025 EAIE Conference and Exhibition! We’ll be contributing to several sessions on a variety of topics, including green mobility, lump sum projects, digitalisation, staff mobility and more.

Special side events

Member-exclusive Warm-Up Session

As in previous years, we’re keeping our tradition of hosting a member-exclusive online warm-up session. If you are part of the EUF network and attending EAIE2025, you are warmly invited to join us online on September 1st at 2:00pm CEST. The session is designed to provide practical tips to help you get the most out of your conference experience. It’s especially helpful for first-time attendees, but returning participants are just as welcome. Come share your insights!

EUF Network Reception

To officially kick off EAIE2025, we will organise an EUF Network Reception on September 9 from 18:00 to 20:30 CEST, exclusively for participants from EUF member institutions and our partners. The gathering will give you the chance to network and connect with colleagues and partners in a relaxed setting.

You can register for the events here. While the warm-up session is open to all staff from EUF member institutions (not sure if your university is a member? Check it out here), the EUF Network Reception has limited capacity and spots may be capped.

What future for Erasmus+ KA2 Cooperation Partnership?

As funding declines and competition intensifies, Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnerships (KA2) are facing growing pressure. Yet their transformative impact—across sectors, institutions, and individuals—remains unparalleled. On September 9, the EUF will host a workshop bringing together policymakers, higher education institutions, and other key stakeholders to take a closer look at the layered impact of Cooperation Partnerships—beyond outputs and deliverables—and ask: what do we risk losing if their role continues to be diminished?

Through an interactive format, the workshop will challenge assumptions, shine a light on often-overlooked forms of value, and explore how these partnerships can continue to serve as powerful drivers of systemic change.

Our activities during the conference

Meeting point for all EWP Dashboard users

This year, we’re bringing the EWP Dashboard to EAIE, and we’re inviting all current (or prospective) users to join us at booth P162. Stop by for a chat, ask questions, discover more about how to get started using digital Nominations, or take part in mini sessions covering a range of exciting topics. We’re looking forward to hearing about your experiences and ideas, and gaining a deeper understanding of how digital transformation is progressing at your institution. Whether you’re new to the Dashboard or a seasoned user, you’re warmly welcome!

Join us at the European Commission booth

From Wednesday to Friday, September 10-12, you’ll also find us at the European Commission DG EAC booth (P115). Valère Meus (EUF) will be co-facilitating mini sessions on topics like EWP, ESCI and EWP Champions, and will be happy to engage in discussions on all things EWP/ESCI and answer any questions you may have!
