Conference: Strategic University Cooperation in Doctoral Training

This conference is tailored for ambitious university leaders, doctoral school representatives and lead researchers willing to bridge the gap between research and innovation. During the event, you will learn more about how to boost the internationalisation of doctoral training based on concrete examples from two high-impact EU-funded projects (DocMob and PhD Hub) and discuss strategic policy-making in the doctoral field.
 
Hosted by the University of Barcelona, the event is co-organised by the Université de Lorraine and the European University Foundation.

By Taxi

A taxi from the Barcelona Airport to the city centre area, where the Historic Building of the University is located, costs approximately 26 -30 €, plus 1€/bag, and it takes between 20 and 40 minutes. More information

By Bus

There is also the bus option called Aerobús from the Airport (terminals 1 and 2) to the University of Barcelona (Plaça Universitat). It costs 5.90€ one-way ticket and 10.20€ roundtrip ticket (valid within 15 days after validating the outward journey). Prices valid until the next rate change. The average travel time per journey is approximately 35 minutes. More information

Take metro line 9, L9 Sud in Terminal 1 and change to line L1 in Torrassa until Universitat. More information

Public Transportation

Getting around Barcelona is fast and easy, as the city is well connected with metro and buses lines. You can also enjoy walking in the city centre.

The nearest metro station is called Universitat (red line L1 and purple line L2). Alternatively, you can stop at Catalunya (red line L1 and green line L3) or Passeig de Gràcia (purple line L2, green line L3 and yellow line L4) (15 minutes walking to the venue).
