Mapping training needs at European HEIs in the area of social inclusion

ACA (Academic Cooperation Association) and the EUF are jointly conducting a mapping survey on the training needs of higher education institutions staff in the area of social inclusion, with the view to supporting and enhancing diversity management competences across European Higher Education Institutions (HEIs).

The survey primarily targets HEI administrative and academic staff members in contact with students of different backgrounds — not only international exchange or degree-seeking students, but also domestic or international students from disadvantaged backgrounds (migrant background, students with disabilities, lower socio-economic background, etc.):

  • Senior management staff overseeing the formulation and implementation of internationalisation strategies;
  • Staff members of international offices;
  • Staff members in charge of international marketing, recruitment, admissions on central or faculty/department levels;
  • Disability/equal opportunities/diversity/inclusion officers, i.e. any staff member providing support services to students of diverse backgrounds;
  • Teaching/coaching staff.

We kindly invite to support this joint endeavour by sharing your experience and expectations with us!

The survey can be accessed here and it will be open until Friday, 22 November 2019.

A lucky draw from among all the respondents who completed the survey will be conducted at the end of the survey. A total of 4 winners will receive fee waivers to attend one of the ACA’s reputed European Policy Seminars in 2020.
