One European Student eID Scheme for Higher Education, six workshops across Europe to explore its potential. Sign up now!
A secure and efficient authentication mechanism for mobile students, a single sign-on to access different electronic services, simplified administrative procedures, and faster information exchange: these are the goals of the MyAcademicID project (MyAID).
In order to explore how HEIs, students and service and identity providers can benefit from the cross-border federated e-authentication that MyAID is bringing forward, a series of national workshops will be organised across six countries throughout spring and summer 2020.
The workshops are intended mainly for the national stakeholders of the host country who are active in the field of higher education and digitalisation, including university IT staff and CIOs, representatives of National Research and Education Networks (NRENs), student unions and national ministries, Digital Officers of Erasmus+ National Agencies, service and identity providers, eIDAS node operators, and members of International Relations Offices interested in the interplay between technology and student mobility.
The first workshop will take place in Berlin on the 18th of March, followed by workshops in Rome and Thessaloniki. Find all the relevant information on the MyAID events page.
