What does it mean to sign up for the Alliance?

Signing up for the Open Source University Alliance means that you show your support for the initiative and the open source repository. By doing this, you are declaring that you believe that the initiative is something of value and that Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) should contribute with source code and software to the repository. You are further showing your commitment to the initiative and that you want to, in the future, be a contributor of source material.

How do we sign up?

Signing up for the Open Source University Alliance is very easy. You sign up by filling out the form found out this page. This form is both a way for you to show your support for the initiative and a possibility for us to easily communicate with you.

For the form, we would kindly like to ask your institution to provide us with a contact person, who we can contact for the initiative and the repository. This is preferably someone from the IT-department, but can of course be somebody else.  We would also like to know what types of source code or software you can be contributing with when the repository opens. This is so that we can know if we will be able to reach critical mass.
