Founded in 1817, Ghent University distinguishes itself as a socially committed and pluralistic university in a broad international perspective. It is one of the leading institutions of higher education and research in Belgium with over 41,000 students and more than 9,000 staff members.
The University of Warsaw, established in 1816, is Poland’s largest university. With over 45,000 students and more than 3,500 academic staff members it provides numerous study programmes. Being research-oriented and mobility friendly, it puts great emphasis on the international dimension by cooperating with 800 international partner universities and institutions.
