Ghent University and the European University Foundation invite you to join the Staff training: Assessing quality in university partnerships from 29 - 31 October 2018.

The Staff training: Assessing quality in university partnerships is targeted at university staff members dealing with international partnerships or quality assurance professionals. The training is relevant for staff members working either on central university level or at the faculty/departmental level. We encourage applications from staff that wants to advance their knowledge in the field of international collaboration.

The three-day training is conducted by the eQuATIC project experts that have developed the eQuATIC tool and conducted a research around quality in international university partnerships.

The aim of the training is multifold. Besides the great opportunity to network with likeminded professionals, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Learn about the research underpinning the theory behind international university partnerships
  • Evaluate practices on international university partnerships at your own institutions
  • Compare your own practices on international partnerships in an international context and learn more about peer-reviewing the quality of your partnerships with your own partners
  • Judge the effectiveness of several practices related to international university partnerships
  • Create action points for their your organisation and learn how to impact internal policies

Additionally, you will have the chance to get to know the beautiful city of Ghent in Belgium and get a taste of real Belgian cuisine.
